Timneh African gray parrots are smaller than their Congo cousins, and their feathers on their head, back, and upper chest are a darker grey, with a distinct “V” shape of dark feathers over a lighter shade of gray on their abdomen. Their beaks are pink to beige with black sides on the upper beak and black on the lower beak. Some consider them less sensitive than Congo African grays.
